Privacy

Your privacy is very important to us.  To better protect your privacy we provide this notice explaining our online information practices.  On some pages you can order products, make requests or join our mailing list so that we can keep you informed of changes to our site, new products, sales, news and special events.  The types of personal information collected on these pages are name, address, email, phone number and credit/debit card information.  Rest assured that the information you provide will never be given to a third party without your permission.

 

Security

Gilded Rose Collections is a secure e-commerce site.  The transfer of sensitive information between you and Gilded Rose Collections is protected by SSL encryption technology to insure online visitors that credit card/debit card account numbers and other confidential information cannot be viewed, intercepted or altered.  Secure Server Certificates are required to initialize an SSL session.  Gilded Rose Collections has obtained its Secure Server Certificate from GoDaddy.  Paypal, our shopping cart provider, is also a secure and encrypted payment provider and your privacy is protected by Paypals SSL technology as well.

 

Shipping

We ship UPS and USPS.  Many of our products vary greatly in weights and sizes.  In all fairness to you, our customer, shipping costs will be calculated with each individual order based on weight, size and zip code rather than a rate based on the total amount of the order.  This will insure that you get the best possible shipping rates.  We will also combine items for shipment whenever possible to minimize shipping costs.  We suggest that you insure your package for a nominal fee.  We cannot be responsible for damage during shipment or lost packages.  If you choose to have your package insured, please inform us when you place your order.  You will be notified immediately upon purchase of the shipping costs.  You may also email us prior to purchase for a quote.  If you require rush delivery, please inform us when you place your order so that we can calculate additional shipping fees.  We do not charge any additional handling fees.  You will be notified when your order is shipped along with the total amount of your order.   Items that are in stock will be shipped within 48-72 hours. We also ship most items worldwide.  Orders shipped outside of the continental United States or internationally are subject to additional shipping charges.   We do not ship on holidays or weekends.

 

Sales Tax

New York State residents will be charged sales tax according to the appropriate jurisdiction.

 

 

Methods of Payment

We accept all major credit cards through Paypal, our shopping cart provider.  You do not have to be registered with Paypal to make payments through them.  Payments are due at the time of purchase.

 

If you prefer to place your order via telephone, please call (914)963-8145.  We can process your credit card information through our virtual merchant terminal here in our office the same way we would process your information if you were to walk into our store. 

 

If you prefer to fax your order, our fax number is (914)376-0382.  Please be sure to include your name, address, phone number, what you would like to order and your credit card information with expiration date.

 

If you would prefer to pay by personal check or money order, please make it payable to Gilded Rose Collections, Inc.  Our mailing address is 715 Midland Avenue, Yonkers, New York   10704-1022.  Products paid for by money order will be shipped within 48-72 hours.  Products paid for by personal check will be shipping within 48-72 hours of bank clearance.  Checks or money orders must be received within 7 days of purchase or the product will be re-listed in inventory.  If your check is returned, you will be charged a $25.00 return check fee.

 

 

Custom Orders

Full payment is required before order is processed.  Since these items are made specifically to your requirements, they are non-returnable and non-refundable.  Custom orders are filled in the order that they are received.  We will contact you with an anticipated ship date.

 

Vintiques

Vintage items and antiques in this department are, as you know, time worn and gently used.  Any minor imperfections will not, however, take away from their faded splendor.  Minor imperfections and major flaws will be fully disclosed and photographed, to the best of our ability, in the product description and product images.  All sales in this department are final, as is and non-refundable.  Please feel free to contact us via phone or email should you have any questions prior to ordering. 

 

Handmade and One-of-a-Kind Products

Because many of our items are handmade and one-of-a-kind products, slight variations will occur and no two items will be exactly alike.  Some embellishments such as florals, lace, beading, and ribbons may slightly vary depending on availability.  If you need duplicates that are as close as possible, please place your order at the same time.  This insures that the same shade/style of embellishment will be used whenever possible.  Please feel free to contact us via phone or email should you have any questions prior to ordering.

 

Returns

We take pride in all of our products and hope that you will treasure them as much as we have enjoyed bringing them to you.  Your satisfaction, however, is very important to us.  If, for any reason, you are not satisfied with your new purchase, please contact us within seven days of delivery for a return authorization number.  You must obtain a return authorization number for all returns before shipment to insure that your return is handled properly.  Returns will not be accepted without a return authorization number. Items must be in original packaging and undamaged.   We ask that you insure your return for the full value for your protection, as we will not be responsible for lost or damaged packages.  We are unable to credit shipping, return shipping or insurance fees.  Credit will be issued within ten days of receipt of returned item.  This return policy does not apply to custom orders and vintiques.

 

If your parcel arrives damaged due to shipping, please notify us within seven days of receiving your order and we will give you the instructions for placing a claim with the carrier.
